Sharing Montgomery Fund
The Sharing Montgomery Fund, housed at The Community Foundation for Montgomery County (CFMC), is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our most vulnerable neighbors in Montgomery County. Stewarded by a donor-led Grants Committee, with the considerable local grantmaking expertise of CFMC’s professional staff, the Sharing Montgomery Fund makes grants to local nonprofits through a rigorous annual selection process, evaluating each organization’s effectiveness, including the quality of its programs, management and governance. Since its inception, the Sharing Montgomery Fund has awarded over $2.1 million in grants to some of the best community-based nonprofit organizations serving Montgomery County’s low-income children and families.
